Hankyu Hanshin developed and implemented an integrated Quality and Environmental Management System to satisfy the needs of customers, the local and global communities, and improve the management of the company.
This Quality and Environmental Management System (QMS and EMS) is referred to as Hankyu Hanshin Management System (HMS).
The HMS complies with both the ISO 9001:2008 (QMS) and the ISO 14001:2004 (EMS) international standards, and maintains certification to the ISO ISO9001 and ISO14001.
The HMS is envisioned as a long-term strategy to reach the Company’s mission and vision throughout the continuous improvement in all aspects of Hankyu Hanshin organization.
The HMS is designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s quality and environmental performance by considering the needs of the interested parties (customers, suppliers, employees, and society).
With this model, Hankyu searches for an overall continual improvement cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Action) of the HMS with the participation and involvement of all employees.
